Location:
Miami, New York or UK preferred; candidates with an established presence in either market, or strong ties across both, will be given particular consideration
Engagement:
Retainer plus commission, structure open to discussion
The House:
House of Veronica Malm is the fine art and conscious lifestyle house of the founder Veronica Malm, a global Swedish-Cuban multidisciplinary artist, designer, and philosopher. Her debut collection — wall sculptures, large-scale paintings, art deco and a select of 1-on-1 hand crafted garments, cultivated over the past year and a half — draws upon more than 2 decades of dedicated spiritual self-mastery, and now approaches readiness for its first exhibition. The work is conceived at the intersection of fine art and conscious luxury: pieces born of a deeply intentional practice, intended for those who collect with both discernment and feeling.
This exhibition marks the House's formal introduction to the market, and the foundation of a broader ambition — one that will, in time, extend into retreats, brand partnerships, and a fuller lifestyle presence spanning art, fashion, and interiors. We are seeking a manager who wishes to help lay that foundation, not merely administer what already exists.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced art brand manager or advisor — ideally based in, or possessed of considerable standing within, the United States art circuit (Miami, New York or UK preferred) — to lead the collection into its exhibition and sales phase as the final pieces are completed. This is a role for someone who already moves within the right rooms: galleries, private collections, and event spaces, and who is equally comfortable advising on storage and logistics as they are brokering an introduction to the right collector.
Advising on, and securing, the appropriate exhibition venue or event format
Introducing the collection to relevant galleries, private collectors, and prospective buyers
Cultivating relationships with patrons and benefactors whose interest extends to supporting emerging artists directly — whether through acquisition, sponsorship, or underwriting logistics
Coordinating storage and shipping logistics in the lead-up to exhibition, and negotiating who bears such costs as part of gallery or consignment terms
Identifying brand partnerships and collaborations in keeping with the House's ethos of sustainability and considered craftsmanship
Laying the early groundwork for future retreats and events as the House expands
Serving, more broadly, as a strategic and trusted advisor as the brand scales
The Candidate
We are looking for someone with genuine standing in the contemporary and fine art world — established relationships, not merely familiarity. Experience placing or representing independent or emerging artists is preferred, as is fluency in both the commercial and narrative dimensions of building an artist's brand: the ability to negotiate a favourable outcome while remaining fluent in the story that gives the work its meaning.
Preferred background:
Established contacts within the contemporary or fine art world — Miami, New York, or the broader US art circuit
A demonstrated record of placing or selling artwork, ideally on behalf of independent or emerging artists
Fluency in the luxury market more broadly — branding, client relations, and high-value negotiation
An appreciation for sustainability, artisanal craftsmanship, and wellness as adjacent and increasingly overlapping markets
Impeccable discretion, sound judgement, and the emotional intelligence to work as a genuine creative partner, rather than a distant intermediary
Compensation
Retainer plus commission on sales, with the precise structure open to discussion. This role is best suited to a candidate who wishes to grow alongside an emerging international artist and brand from a formative stage, rather than step into an already-established enterprise.
