Kim Komando is one of America’s most trusted voices in technology, reaching millions through a top-rated radio show on 510+ stations, podcasts, YouTube, and a website with millions of monthly visits. Weststar also plans and manages national radio and podcast advertising campaigns for fast-growing consumer brands, and it is scaling fast.
Every one of those campaigns needs to run on time, get billed correctly, and prove it worked. That’s your job.
💡 WHAT THIS ROLE ACTUALLY IS
You are the operational backbone of a growing ad agency. Dozens of campaigns run at once across national radio networks, syndicated shows, and podcast hosts. Some are live, some just wrapped, some are renewing, and some are about to launch. Right now, no one person owns the full picture.
You’ll change that. You’ll traffic every campaign, track every start and end date, chase every invoice, confirm every dollar comes in from clients and goes out to networks, and keep one clean set of records everyone can trust. You’ll also own trafficking and scheduling for The Kim Komando Show.
🎯 WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Traffic and schedule advertising campaigns across a national roster of radio networks, shows, and podcast hosts, confirming every spot and endorsement runs as ordered.
- Track campaign status end to end: what’s running, what’s finished, what’s renewing, and what’s next.
- Monitor campaign performance and ROI by host and network, and report clearly on what’s working and what isn’t.
- Own client invoicing and receivables: prepare invoices, confirm payments arrive on schedule, and reconcile them against campaign orders.
- Manage payables to networks and hosts: collect and verify invoices across different deal structures, prepare payment distributions for approval, and confirm wires go out correctly. All payments are approved and executed by ownership.
- Apply and reconcile agency fees accurately across every client and campaign.
- Own trafficking, scheduling, and client tracking for The Kim Komando Show.
- Keep clean, current records that serve as the single source of truth for campaigns and billing.
✅ WHAT YOU BRING
- 3-plus years in advertising operations, media billing, traffic, or a similar coordination role. Ad agency experience strongly preferred.
- A numbers brain. You’re comfortable with invoices, reconciliations, and percentages, and you catch discrepancies before they become problems.
- Extreme attention to detail and follow-through. Nothing slips past you.
- Strong written communication. Much of our client and network coordination happens over detailed, well-organized email across time zones.
- The ability to juggle many moving parts across multiple clients, networks, and deal types without dropping any.
- Solid Excel or Google Sheets skills.

- Can write or script radio and podcast ad copy, distribute changes and monitor results
- Have helped an agency or media operation scale.
