Marketing Communications Specialist
Addison Group is partnering with an innovative organization in the health and wellness industry to identify a Marketing Communications Specialist for a temporary leave coverage assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a marketing professional who enjoys writing, managing projects, and collaborating across departments to create impactful communications.
Our client is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to support a variety of internal and external marketing initiatives during a parental leave coverage. This individual will play a key role in developing compelling communications, supporting marketing campaigns, managing communication calendars, and ensuring consistent messaging across multiple channels. The ideal candidate is an organized self-starter with strong writing skills, experience managing multiple projects, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and edit marketing content for email campaigns, websites, presentations, and print materials.
Coordinate and maintain communication calendars for member and client outreach initiatives.
Create engaging content for social media platforms and assist with ongoing content planning.
Produce internal and external newsletters while ensuring brand consistency.
Partner with account management, sales, and operational teams to support communication needs.
Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns and special communication projects.
Review and proofread communications to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency.
Manage multiple priorities while meeting project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Provide general marketing and communications support as business needs evolve.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

3 years of experience in marketing, communications, copywriting, project coordination, or a related role.
Excellent written communication skills with experience producing professional marketing content.
Strong project management and organizational abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint.
Experience supporting social media content and marketing initiatives.
Ability to prioritize competing deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Comfortable working cross-functionally in a collaborative environment.
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus but not required.
Knowledge of the health or wellness industry is preferred.
