Creating engaging social content, the freelance Video Editor will produce vertical, captioned videos from CBS Sports programming for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, working on a flexible basis that includes nights and weekends during the sports seasons.
Key responsibilities

Create vertical videos from CBS Sports programming, focusing on various shows and podcasts
Collaborate with the social producer to craft optimized content for social media platforms
Add creative elements to enhance videos, including footage, photos, text, and graphics

Required qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in social/digital/video editing, with strong internships considered
Proficient in Adobe Premiere and capable of working across different media formats
Strong understanding of pacing, captioning, and formatting for vertical, social-first platforms
Willingness to work during prime time sports viewing hours, including nights and weekends
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under fast turnaround times
