About Paxxy

Paxxy is a TLC-licensed Black Car rideshare startup built for the Latino and other communities of western Queens. We operate as a single-neighborhood, community-anchored marketplace, which means our growth does not come from a media plan. It comes from being physically present in the zone, earning trust block by block, and keeping enough drivers connected and accepting rides during the hours people actually need us.
The Role

The Local Partnerships Coordinator is Paxxy\'s face and feet in the zone. In a community-anchored play, field work, community building, and driver relationships are one job, not three, so this role owns all of it. You get drivers to connect and accept in the zone, you build Paxxy\'s physical and community presence, and you turn local businesses into partners. If you like being out in the neighborhood, talking to people all day, and seeing the direct result of your work in the numbers, this is for you.
What You Will Own

Local partnerships
Signing and managing partnerships with hotels, local businesses, and community anchors that drive demand and visibility.
Keeping partners active and delivering value after the handshake, not just at signing.
Community presence and reputation
Offline activations and local events that put Paxxy in front of riders and drivers.
Building relationships in the community so Paxxy is a known, trusted name, not just another app.
Protecting and growing Paxxy\'s local reputation through consistent, positive presence.
Field recruitment and activation of new drivers across the coverage neighborhoods.
Building and running driver groups (chats, meetups, informal networks) that keep drivers engaged and informed.
Executing the connection and acceptance incentive programs on the ground, making sure drivers understand them and act on them.
Being the first point of contact drivers trust when they have a problem or a question in the field.
Measurement and coordination
Logging field activity, driver contacts, and partnerships in the CRM (Salesforce) so the work is visible and measurable.
Coordinating daily with the Marketing Lead and the Analytics team on where supply is thin and where activation effort should go next.
What Success Looks Like

Enough active drivers connecting and accepting rides in the zone during demand windows.
A rising connection and acceptance rate on the incentives you execute.
A steady, growing pipeline of signed and active local partners.
A visible, trusted Paxxy presence across the coverage neighborhoods.
Must-Have Qualifications

Based in or fully able to work daily on the ground in western Queens.
Fluent Spanish, both spoken and written.
Comfortable spending most of the day out in the field, initiating conversations with strangers, drivers, and business owners.
Self-directed and reliable: able to plan a week of field work with light supervision and follow through.
Strong relationship-building and negotiation instincts.
Comfortable using a phone and basic CRM or tracking tools to log activity.
Strong Plus

Prior experience in field sales, community organizing, driver or gig operations, local business development, or on-the-ground marketing.
Existing relationships with drivers, local businesses, or community organizations in the coverage area.
Who You Are

You are energized by being out in the neighborhood, not behind a screen. You are as comfortable recruiting a driver at a gas station as you are pitching a hotel front desk on a partnership. You take ownership, you follow up, and you treat Paxxy\'s reputation in the community as your own.
