About The Role
The role drives the social media strategy and execution to build brand equity and engage with a highly technical community. This position owns the organic social presence across Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels, turning complex technical concepts into highly shareable, engaging content. The Social Media Manager will collaborate directly with product, engineering, design, and growth teams to amplify product launches, developer relations initiatives, and brand campaigns. This role is crucial for scaling community engagement and driving organic traffic to the digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Own the social media calendar from ideation to publishing, ensuring a consistent brand voice across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, and Reddit
Produce, write, and edit high-quality social content, including thread writing, short-form video scripts, graphics briefs, and technical commentary
Monitor social channels daily to engage with followers, customers, industry influencers, and developers, fostering active community discussions
Track, analyze, and report on key social metrics (reach, engagement, CTR, follower growth) using tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, and Google Analytics
Run experimental social campaigns, including live streams, AMA sessions, and interactive polls to drive audience participation
Collaborate with the design team to produce visually compelling assets, including short videos, GIFs, infographics, and custom images
What We Are Looking For
3-6 years of experience managing social media accounts for a B2B SaaS, developer-focused, or tech company
Proven track record of growing social media channels and driving measurable community engagement
Strong copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to translate technical or complex product updates into engaging social copy
Proficiency with social media management tools (Sprout Social, Buffer) and basic design/video editing tools (Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
Analytical mindset with experience building reports and deriving actionable insights from social data
Bonus: Experience in developer relations, hosting video content, or managing developer/tech-focused online communities
