Position Overview

Organic Growers School is seeking a Program Coordinator to support our Farmer Programs and Organic Growing & Living initiatives, including Farm Beginnings, Journeyperson, CRAFT Farmer Network, and other sustainable agriculture education programs. This full‑time role (37 hrs/week) works closely with the Director of Programs to manage curriculum, speakers, participant data, and event logistics. The role requires frequent evenings, weekends, and an on‑the‑ground presence across Western NC.

Key Responsibilities
Manage curriculum, scheduling, and materials for programs.

Coordinate speakers and facilitators.

Collect and maintain participant data.

Plan and execute event logistics.

Collaborate with the Director of Programs and other stakeholders.

Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of administrative and educational program coordination experience.

Background in sustainable agriculture.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Availability for evenings, weekends, and travel within Western NC.

Compensation

$23.28 per hour with full‑time benefits.
