Job Description
The main function of a communications specialist is to represent the company to the public and serve as the public face.
Responsibilities
Ensure timely, creative, and accurate dissemination of news, multimedia content and information.
Create content for multiple platforms, including social media, ensuring quality, accuracy and alignment with the corporate message.
Prioritize content and news presentations, building a proper platform for delivery.
Assist in writing, editing and presenting corporate communications for both internal and external audiences.
Write and coordinate dealer communications for the BCP marketing team.
Plan and deliver 7–9 industry trade‑show experiences per year, including on‑site work, space design, messaging and lead generation, along with pre‑show, on‑show and post‑show communications and reporting.
Plan and execute trade‑association experiences, coordinating with strategy leads and industry partners.
Develop innovative solutions to maintain market leadership, especially in the trade‑show and events space.
Contribute insights that inform future product decisions, marketing strategy and industry direction.
Daily interaction with cross‑functional teams.
Travel as needed to understand regional business environments and support marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations or a related field.
8–10 years of professional experience.
Skilled writer with corporate‑scale publication experience.
Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
Experience managing trade shows, events and association activities.
Strong project and event management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder‑relationship skills.
Ability to develop technology‑enabled event solutions.
