Role: Engagement Manager

Location: New York United States.

Reporting to: Associate Vice President.

Job Description:

Engagement Manager to lead Agentic AI and cloud transformation projects. Act as orchestrator between enterprise stakeholders and highly technical engineering teams, ensuring autonomous AI solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business value on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Client Advisory: Lead workshops with client executives to translate manual business processes into roadmaps for autonomous AI agents and multi-agent workflows.

Delivery Oversight: Direct agile squads of data scientists, GenAI engineers, and AWS architects, ensuring smooth project execution without being involved in implementation.

Risk Management: Track and mitigate project risks unique to autonomous AI, such as managing hallucination thresholds, implementing cost-per-token budgeting, and defining human-in-the-loop (HITL) checkpoints.

AWS Partner Alignment: Coordinate with customer account teams to align project milestones with AWS Best Practices.

Scope & Financial Governance: Manage statement of work (SOW) compliance, project timelines, burn rates, and resource allocation.

Core Requirements

Project Delivery Experience: Proven track record of successfully managing and launching complex IT projects, specifically focusing on cloud infrastructure (AWS) and Generative AI initiatives.

Conceptual Tech Literacy: Strong conceptual understanding of AWS AI services (e.g., Amazon Bedrock, Knowledge Bases, Guardrails) and Agentic concepts (RAG, multi-agent orchestration, function calling) to effectively communicate with engineers and clients.

Agile Leadership: Expert knowledge of Scrum/Kanban frameworks to manage delivery velocity and remove administrative blockers for the technical team.
