Video Content Editor & Media Archivist Location: Colorado Springs, CO (Hybrid: In‑office/Remote)

Reporting To: Art Director, Marketing Department
Key Responsibilities & Duties Media Architecture & Asset Management (Archivist) Design, architect, and maintain a robust, scalable library of historical video footage, B‑roll, and creative assets.
Establish and oversee strict data backup, cloud storage, and redundancy protocols to ensure zero asset loss.
Implement intuitive tagging, metadata tagging, and organization systems for easy asset access.
Video Editing & Content Creation (Creator) Craft engaging video content for social media (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube), websites, commercial ads, and ministry impact stories.
Collaboratively brainstorm and script creative content ideas from concept through final completion.
Work under producer oversight, integrating pre‑produced elements and aligning with campaign goals.
Partner with domestic and international ministry efforts to highlight global impact.
Distribution & Technical Innovation (Tech Specialist) Manage upload and optimization of video content across digital platforms such as YouTube, Google, Facebook, Instagram, and third‑party platforms.
Continuously learn new video production solutions, AI tools, and distribution technology.
Qualifications & Skills 3+ years of professional video editing experience with a portfolio demonstrating diverse storytelling styles.
High proficiency in major video editing suites (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
Proven experience or deep understanding of media asset management systems, server architecture, and data redundancy strategies.
Ability to take constructive feedback and transform notes into creative solutions.
Strong alignment with the mission and values of Living on the Edge.
Must be able to work a hybrid schedule, splitting time between home and Colorado Springs office.
