Summary
Home To Stay is seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Social Media Marketing Intern to support our branding, digital marketing, and community outreach initiatives. This hands‑on internship offers the opportunity to gain real‑world experience in content creation, social media strategy, employer branding, and digital communications while supporting a growing healthcare organization dedicated to helping older adults and individuals with disabilities remain safely at home.

Responsibilities, Duties & Projects

Create engaging social media graphics, short‑form videos, and written content

Schedule and publish content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms

Assist with recruitment marketing campaigns to attract caregivers and office staff

Support the development and organization of Canva brand templates and marketing assets

Research social media trends and recommend new content ideas

Monitor engagement metrics and prepare basic performance reports

Assist with photography and video content for company events, employee recognition, and community outreach

Support marketing and community engagement initiatives as assigned

Student Eligibility & Qualifications
To be eligible for this internship through the

NJ Career Accelerator Internship Grant Program , candidates must meet

one

of the following criteria:

Current New Jersey undergraduate student

Current New Jersey graduate student

Recent New Jersey college graduate (must have graduated within one year prior to the internship start date)

Current undergraduate student who is a permanent New Jersey resident (eligibility determined on a case‑by‑case basis)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using Canva; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Creative eye for design, branding, and visual storytelling

Organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Basic understanding of social media marketing, engagement, and analytics

Professional, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality

Self‑motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Interest in healthcare, aging services, human services, or community-based organizations is a plus
