GMMB has a hybrid work schedule with at least three days in office presence. This position can be based in Washington, DC area, or Seattle, WA.
Salary range: $70,000 – $85,000.
Responsibilities
Work closely with copywriters, digital strategists, account staff, and others to develop campaign concepts for purpose-driven clients.
Translate strategy, audience insights, and complex issues into ideas that are clear, compelling, and actionable.
Create ideas that can live across a wide variety of media including video, print, interactive, social, out-of-home, and in-person activations.
Develop mood boards, visual treatments, storyboards, social concepts, activation ideas, pitch visuals, presentation decks, and other materials that help sell and shape the work.
Clearly explain creative ideas, and the strategic thinking behind them, internally and to clients.
Work with designers and production partners to bring ideas to life, providing clear direction while respecting the craft and expertise of the broader creative team.
Qualifications
2+ years of direct experience as an Art Director or in integrated campaign development, preferably in an agency or in-house creative department.
Strong conceptual thinking skills and the ability to generate compelling campaign ideas, not just create visually appealing work.
Experience developing conceptual work for integrated campaigns across multiple channels.
A portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual thinking, visual craft, and the ability to turn strategy into compelling creative.
The care, judgment, and cultural awareness needed for purpose-driven work, recognizing that campaigns involve nuanced issues, real communities, and sensitive subject matter.
Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign). Familiarity with motion, prototyping, or AI tools is required.
Compensation and Policies
Salary range: $70,000 – $85,000.
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time. Many of our agencies and Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
