Overview Title: Marketing Communications Specialist

What’s the Opportunity? Anchor QEA is in search of an organized, creative, and insight-driven Marketing Communications Specialist to join our growing Client Experience team. Reporting directly to the Senior Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for advancing and delivering strategic marketing communications initiatives that strengthen Anchor QEA's brand and engage key audiences across digital, social, and earned media channels.
Responsibilities Conceptualize and implement a cohesive social media and digital content strategy through LinkedIn and Instagram, aligned with Anchor QEA's brand voice, tone, and mission.
Manage social channels with 8-10+ years of professional experience creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging posts (text, graphic, and preferably video); curate content from subject-matter experts and internal staff teams.
Write and edit with meticulous attention to detail; draft captions/posts, and proofread content for clarity, tone, and brand consistency.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, design, content, technical, and project teams to surface compelling stories about Anchor QEA's environmental science and engineering work and translate technical projects into accessible content for clients and communities.
Develop long-form writing such as articles and project stories to highlight the firm's technical expertise for external publication, including company website and earned media outlets.
Draft press releases and media advisories communicating project wins, milestones, and company announcements with accuracy and consistency.
Track and analyze social media metrics and web analytics; translate data into insights and routine reports, recommending optimizations to increase reach and engagement.
Basic graphic and/or video content creation experience using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite; assist internal or external designers in producing visually appealing social and digital content.
Organize and manage content across all channels concurrently (social posts, website updates, email lists, editorial calendars) while maintaining quality, brand integrity, and compliance with content usage rights and copyright rules.
Collaborate as part of an integrated Client Experience team to develop coordinated, client-focused communications and marketing deliverables that strengthen the Anchor QEA brand and support business growth.
What Are We Looking For? Ideal candidates will have the following:
8-10+ years of relevant professional marketing or communication experience
Bachelor's degree preferred
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational and multitasking abilities with meticulous attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with marketing software/tools; HubSpot experience highly preferred
Ability to independently manage and prioritize tasks, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Salary and Other Compensation: Salary Range: $88,000-$104,000
Annual Bonus
Other potential bonus types: Billable Time Bonus, Spot Bonus, Milestone Anniversary Bonus, Receiving Professional License/Certification Bonus, Peer-reviewed Publication Bonus, Employee Referral Bonus.
Base Level Benefits for Regular Full-Time Positions: Healthcare: Medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D insurance
Paid Company and Floating Holidays: 7 paid company and 2 floating holidays annually
Vacation: 2 weeks accrued paid vacation based on length of service. Vacation may vary by level.
Sick and Safe Time: 80 hours annually
