Role Description

The Style Advisor is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Boston, MA. This role is responsible for providing personalized fashion guidance, styling recommendations, and wardrobe solutions tailored to each client’s needs and preferences. Day‑to‑day tasks include greeting and engaging customers, conducting client consultations, presenting merchandise, and creating looks that reflect current trends and the Saks brand. The Style Advisor drives sales through relationship‑building, follow‑up communication, and client outreach, while maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation. The role also involves staying current on product assortments, collaborating with colleagues to support store initiatives, and using digital tools to enhance the client experience.

Qualifications

Strong Product Knowledge and understanding of luxury fashion brands and trends.

Demonstrated Fashion Consulting experience, including styling, wardrobe building, and advising diverse clients.

Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and present recommendations clearly.

Proven Customer Service skills focused on creating personalized, high‑touch experiences.

Track record of achieving or exceeding Sales goals in a retail or client‑facing environment.

Ability to build and maintain long‑term client relationships and manage a client book.

Comfort using point‑of‑sale and clienteling systems, as well as digital tools to support the client journey.

Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends, and holidays as needed.

Previous luxury or premium retail experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
