What This Role Will Do

Work closely with the Production Manager to support the department across event execution and planning, and supervise/execute events independently as needed.
Foster a positive and creative environment for the Production department and venue.
Maintain, complete, and distribute show close financials, documents, and information for each event.
Process and distribute pre-settlements internally, execute settlements accurately and coordinate payments to artists.
Assist the Production Manager in maintaining department manuals and training materials for all production positions.
Train/assist and support production department personnel with job functions as needed.
Adhere to the budget and track the financial aspects of the department for each show as directed by the Production Manager.
Create and maintain inventory and maintenance logs.
Work with the Production Manager to schedule appropriate staffing while maintaining labor costs within budget.
Maintain regular communications with the Production Manager and the GM.
Coordinate interdepartmental communication for show-specific purposes and oversee all aspects of the department from load-in to load-out, including hospitality, stage, sound, and lighting crews, coordinating with touring personnel, schedules, and safety/operations departments.
Coordinate operational feedback with the Production Manager.
Advance technical and hospitality details for shows/events with the Production Manager.
Oversee maintenance of audio, lighting, backline, and video systems; advise on repairs when needed.
Ensure safe and consistent operation of all equipment and successful execution of events.
Qualifications – What This Person Will Bring

Calm, professional, and customer-service oriented demeanor.
4 years of prior production experience in an entertainment venue.
Stage management experience.
Managerial and/or supervisory experience.
Strong understanding of industry norms, including artist deal structures, budget management, concert execution, event security and safety, production implementation and safety, and artist relations.
Understanding of stage lighting, pro audio systems, and video systems.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and make clear, concise decisions with limited information.
Computer literacy in Windows applications (Excel and Word).
Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
Preferred

College degree.
Tour management experience.
Physical Demands / Working Environment

Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Moderate to loud noise in the work environment.
Potentially long shifts (10+ hours).
