Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Visual Designer in Naperville, IL. Summary: As a Visual Designer, you will be responsible for shaping and improving the user experience through design and considering the effects of typography, space, layouts, color illustrations and photography on the usability of digital products. This role combines a thorough knowledge of current design trends, and a working knowledge of front-end development to interface across a variety of digital products.
Creates accessible interaction modules, screen layouts, style guides, pattern libraries, images, icons and other visual elements for approved and funded projects
Applies and updates existing brand (visual and interaction) standards to accommodate new products and campaigns
Presents and communicates design and design goals to teammates and partners
Validates code is built as designed during projects (according to brand standards, style guides and pattern libraries)
Reviews artifacts and deliverables from peer designers to ensure they accurately represent the brand
Requirements
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Typically, 4+ years of experience in visual design, digital design, or related field
Strong portfolio demonstrating: Visual design craft (typography, layout, color, composition); Application of brand systems at scale
Design for marketing or acquisition-focused experiences
Working knowledge of design tools (e.g., Figma)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
