Essential Functions

Lead pre‑opening activities, including recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, and preparing the opening team.

Take the helm and own both the front‑ and back‑house operations at MilkShake Factory, orchestrating:

Seamless workflows

Top‑notch merchandising

Impeccable sanitation

An unbeatable customer experience.

Co‑create foolproof systems for operational excellence, covering cash management, food safety, inventory control, and team performance.

Partner with the owner on human resources, handling everything from staff training and coaching to motivation, feedback, and retention strategies.

Craft efficient schedules, ensuring smooth retail operations while keeping a keen eye on budget‑friendly labor costs.

Collaborate on the accounting side to shape an accurate budget for MilkShake Factory.

Keep a tight grip on waste reduction by monitoring inputs, documenting trends, and training team members on quality and recipes.

Set up maintenance schedules that elevate equipment reliability and work with the team to ensure security measures are on point, including cameras, alarms, locks, and protocols.

Smash those sales goals through consumer‑value techniques like bundling and strategic merchandising.

Be the ultimate brand advocate, sharing the company’s story, history, vision, and products with both consumers and employees.

Keep POS register systems purring with operational perfection at all times.

Requirements

Demonstrated leadership ability with at least five years of experience in a customer‑facing sales setting.

Strong track record of creating an amazing customer experience while managing successful retail or restaurant teams, brands, operations, and financials.

Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

College degree is strongly preferred; however, extra years of experience may substitute.

Composure, positivity, flexibility, and time management ability necessary to succeed in a performance‑driven retail environment.

Exceptional leadership, communication, operational, problem‑solving, organizational and planning skills.

Ability to plan and prioritize workload.

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Ability to lift and/or handle packaged goods and materials up to and including 25 lbs.
