The Social Media Manager Intern will support the organization’s digital engagement efforts by assisting with content creation, social media management, audience interaction, and online outreach. This role is ideal for someone interested in communications, public relations, marketing, digital media, or nonprofit outreach.

Responsibilities
Develop and support social media strategies to increase engagement and visibility
Create, edit, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms
Manage posts for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other digital channels
Monitor engagement metrics, website traffic, and social media performance
Respond to comments, messages, and community interactions professionally
Maintain consistent branding, tone, and messaging across all platforms
Support SEO, digital outreach, and online campaign efforts
Assist with content calendars, promotional materials, and event announcements
Collaborate with leadership and team members on communication goals
Qualifications
Experience managing or creating content for social media platforms
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Background in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field preferred
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Interest in nonprofit work, community outreach, and digital storytelling
Creative mindset with attention to detail
