Job Description
Ascentium Capital, a division of Regions Bank, seeks a Titling Documentation Specialist. The specialist serves as the primary contact between sales associates, executives, credit, and customer service personnel on all loan/lease documentation, and also as a secondary contact for vendors and customers regarding loan/lease documentation questions.
Primary Responsibilities
Prepares customer document package and titling documents, ensuring they are executed accurately, efficiently, and completed within established guidelines according to approval terms
Manages assigned documentation queue(s) to ensure proper workflow
Processes and oversees ownership transfers on titled assets, ensuring all legal and compliance steps are followed
Maintains knowledge of private party sale transactions related to titled assets and ensures proper documentation and ownership transfer
Verifies title documents for accuracy while monitoring accounts for potential fraud
Identifies situations in which original title documents are needed in lieu of copies
Ensures perfection documentation is in place for UCC filings and / or Lienholder add for titling
Reviews and maintains vehicle documentation and title information
Maintains confidentiality and protects sensitive customer data in accordance with bank policies and privacy regulations
Provides outstanding customer service (during outbound/inbound calls and while responding to voicemails, emails) when necessary, meeting service level agreements, and de‑escalating situations
Requires properly prepared sales quotes/invoices are obtained to ensure correct vendor’s, payee’s and referral sources are funded
Communicates appropriately and effectively with all levels including management, credit associates, finance associates, and customers
Coordinates and provides Sales/External Vendor Partners with itemized lists of documentation and credit contingencies needed to close and fund the loan
Communicates with sales associates on documentation generation as well as terms and conditions, company procedures, and banking policies including KYC (Know Your Customer) and other regulatory requirements
Ensures compliance with applicable internal and external policies and regulations
Arranges loan in internal all‑in‑one financial operating system for booking into lease accounting system
Processes and scans all documents into image archive system according to company policies and procedures
Identifies fraud, discrepancies, and risks associated with customer and vendor documentation – collaborating with the Quality Control team when necessary
Meets monthly booked volume goals and Quality Control review standards, ensuring high level of accuracy and compliance
Maintains up‑to‑date knowledge of state vendor titling rules and guidelines to ensure compliance with state‑specific requirements for titling
Stays abreast of high‑level laws & requirements for perfecting liens and updating internal processes to align with state titling and form requirement changes
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
One (1) year of experience in lease, loan, or mortgage documentation
Preferences
Bachelor’s degree
Basic knowledge of banking regulations and compliance, especially related to customer information and asset titling
Experience with account management software systems
Commercial/Consumer Titling experience

Able to apply basic understanding of accounting principles, specifically related to financial transactions

Possesses basic understanding of the flow of title ownership

Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point‑of‑market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

Median: $49,883.40 USD
