CSDE Educator Certification Requirements:

Candidates must hold or be eligible for certification by the time the position commences.

CT CSDE Teaching Certification for the appropriate grade levels.

Note: Teachers dually certified in TESOL, Bilingual Education or ESL, with experience in Sheltered Instruction or fluency in a language other than English, will be given preference for all Stamford Public School positions.

Responsibilities

Implement the multimedia curriculum at Cloonan Middle School.

Oversee technology inventory management and ensure adequate hardware and software resources.

Provide technology integration support to teachers and students to enhance multimedia and software utilization.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and ensure smooth operation of instructional technology systems.

Collaborate with central office and city IT personnel on technology initiatives and issues.

Qualifications

CT CSDE Teaching Certification for the appropriate grade levels (or eligibility).

Preference for TESOL, Bilingual Education or ESL certification and related experience.
