Senior Medical Editor

Seeking a meticulous Senior Medical Editor, this remote position will focus on editing a variety of scientific materials, conducting thorough proofreading, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure timely project delivery while adhering to style guides.
Key responsibilities

Edit diverse scientific materials, including manuscripts, slide decks, and digital content, following relevant style guides
Conduct detailed proofreading of typeset layouts, figure redraws, and journal proofs
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and budgets, while creating and updating account-specific style guides

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in science, English, or a related field
3-5 years of copy-editing experience in healthcare communications or journal publishing
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
Strong command of English and knowledge of medical/pharmaceutical terminology and AMA 11th edition style
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills
