Managing a variety of publishing projects, the full-time Managing Editor, Christian Publishing will oversee schedules, logistics, and communication for the She Reads Truth program, collaborating with multiple departments in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for scheduling and logistics for the imprint's books
Liaise with production, editorial, and marketing teams to ensure smooth project execution
Collect and maintain metadata for titles, including ISBNs and on-sale dates
Required qualifications
Minimum of 5 years' experience in magazine or book publishing, preferably in Managing Editorial
Knowledge of Bible scripture is essential
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
Familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style and experience with SAP is a plus
