Define the market position of a product or brand, within the context of the overall product strategy, by conducting competitor analysis and market research, working with the sales team, and driving marketing initiatives to support product or brand awareness and sales. In addition to taking the product to market, this role is responsible for ensuring that the product meets the needs of the market and that data and research gained in the marketplace shape future product direction. Articulate the product and feature benefits and translate them into customer messaging. Give product demonstrations at trade shows and webinars, delivering presentations and creating marketing collateral. Responsible for bringing the product to market, driving adoption, and equipping the sales team with the knowledge and tools to be successful.

Job Description
Brand Manager role with direct ownership of the Escalon and Heinz branded tomatoes portfolio in our Away From Home foodservice business. Responsible for developing brand strategy, managing the portfolio, driving commercialization, and leading integrated B2B communications plans to accelerate growth.

Job Purpose
Ensure operators and distribution partners experience our tomato brands consistently across Away From Home channels. Own a three-year growth plan for the portfolio, requiring intensive collaboration with internal stakeholders, including the Away From Home Tomatoes field sales team, innovation team, R&D, Finance, and external agency partners.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Apply business analytics (equity, share, volume and revenue drivers, competition) to develop insights and inform business decisions.

Develop a strong partnership with Sales to deliver share growth.

Deliver monthly consumption/share analysis with actionable recommendations to drive brand growth.

Manage the overall tomato portfolio, including SKU rationalization, strategic prioritization, pack/price architecture, and updates to product catalogs.

Nurture and evolve the equity of the Escalon brand, preserving its heritage as a premium tomato solution while driving relevance in foodservice markets.

Develop and implement a three-year portfolio plan using operator insights and market trends.

Partner closely with the Away From Home innovation team on format innovation to strengthen pipeline alignment with growth strategy.

Lead commercialization of renovation and maintenance projects in partnership with R&D, Finance, and Project Management teams.

Own B2B communication strategy and execution for Escalon across Away From Home channels and foodservice partners.

Plan and execute the Escalon’s trade show presence at events including Pizza Expo in partnership with Sales & Culinary, building on success in prior years.

Deliver communication-driven partnership ideas that differentiate our brands and help win new business opportunities.

Collaborate extensively with customer marketing and agency partners to bring strategic campaigns to life.

Expected Experience & Required Skills

Extensive experience in marketing for a CPG company or working on agency side (advertising, consulting, media) supporting foodservice or B2B initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Demonstrated capability in marketing plan development, including situation assessment, strategy, and tactical planning.

Strong experience in leading cross-functional teams with accountability for delivery in agreed timelines.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Solid experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns for B2B channels.

Compensation
New Hire Base Salary Range: $120,800.00 – $151,000.00. Bonus: Eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
