Description
WIS is looking for a motivated, multiskilled Editor/Photojournalist to join our top‑rated news team. Candidates must display competence in video editing and shooting video on professional cameras. This is a part‑time position that includes weekends.

Responsibilities

Oversee editorial quality, accuracy, and timeliness of news content across television broadcasts.

Gather news assignments independently or as part of a team.

Maintain assigned camera gear, operate Live U’s, post video clips to the web, and complete other duties as assigned.

Edit video for newscasts using non‑linear editing systems (Edius, Premiere Pro, or similar).

Operate professional cameras, microphones, and basic lighting equipment.

Maintain equipment and shoot and edit video as assigned.

Gather and submit information and visuals for digital platforms.

Execute live shots using LiveU and ENG technology.

Contribute to the entire editorial process, including sourcing, enterprise, gathering, story construction, and presentation.

Qualifications / Requirements

College degree preferred.

Two years of related experience.

Proven ability to post content on social media platforms.

Working knowledge of non‑linear editing systems.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Flexible work hours required.

Willing and able to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, late nights, holidays, and weekends.

Ability to work in varied environments.

Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and clean driving record.
