Role Description

This is a remote internship role for a Social Media Content Creator Intern at Kouhl Collective. The intern will support the team by developing social media concepts, drafting posts, and adapting brand narratives for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X. Day‑to‑day tasks include researching cultural and industry trends, sourcing visuals, creating basic social assets, scheduling content, and monitoring engagement. The role also involves collaborating with the branding and PR team to ensure content aligns with each client's voice, guidelines, and strategic goals, while maintaining consistency and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Strong social media content creation skills, including writing engaging captions, adapting brand tone, and planning posts across multiple platforms.
Foundational skills in visual storytelling, such as basic design or video editing using common tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, Photoshop, or similar).
Ability to research cultural trends, audience behaviors, and competitor activity, and translate insights into content ideas.
Organizational skills for managing content calendars, meeting deadlines, and coordinating with a remote team.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail, grammar, and brand consistency.
Comfort working independently in a remote environment, with openness to feedback and iterative improvement.
Interest in branding, PR, and strategy, and a strong sense of taste, restraint, and curation in how content is presented.
Current student or recent graduate in communications, marketing, media, design, or a related field preferred, but not required.
