Our client, a leading organization in the technology and engineering sector, is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the Documentation Support team supporting engineering and technical documentation processes.
Job Title: Technical Writer
Location: Secaucus, NJ (Onsite)
Pay rate: $40 per hour
What's the Job?
Publish and manage engineering documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate with engineers and subject matter experts to obtain approvals and validate document content.
Handle large volumes of documents, including metadata entry and version control.
Follow established documentation processes and workflows to ensure timely publication.
Assist with the development of additional technical documents as needed, supporting continuous improvement.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of experience or Master's degree with 1+ years of experience in technical writing or related fields.
Experience in publishing structured technical documents and managing document workflows.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to handle high-volume document processing.
Proactive follow-up and coordination skills to work effectively with engineers and SMEs.
Familiarity with engineering documentation, drawings, and metadata management is preferred.
