Job Overview Raytheon Shipboard Missiles, a sub‑strategic business unit within Naval Power, seeks a Program Management Associate Director (AD) for the Standard Missile 3 Block IIA (SM‑3 Blk IIA) Development contract supporting Golden Dome. This onsite role in Tucson, Arizona manages a $500million development effort over four years, leading a matrixed team of 200–300 employees, and is responsible for schedule, performance, and customer relationships.
Responsibilities Execute the SM‑3 Blk IIA critical munitions program on time and within budget.
Establish and maintain program metrics, milestones, critical path, and adherence to program budgets and schedules.
Lead the development program manager to drive continuous improvement in schedule and performance.
Manage multiple integrated product teams (IPTs) across the country and coordinate program execution.
Build and nurture relationships with internal and external customers, vendors, and government employees.
Provide executive‑level decision‑making and program risk resolution, escalating as appropriate.
Oversee profit and loss, AOP, and other financial metrics for the program.
Lead the P&L for pursuit
ew‑business content related to contract execution.
Travel domestically approximately 10% of the time.
Qualifications University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 12years relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 10years of experience.
Prior people‑leadership and management experience.
Prior program or project management experience, including use of earned‑value management systems (EVMS).
Experience with estimate at completed (EAC), risk and opportunity analysis, and/or IMP/IMS.
Experience working within the defense industry and supporting the product life cycle.
Strong knowledge of various contract types (cost‑plus, CPIF, FFP, FPIF).
Preferred Qualifications PMP or Raytheon Program Manager 4 certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
Deep understanding of the DoD acquisition environment, MDA and other service‑branch programs.
Demonstrated experience managing large, complex programs and staffing, assigning, and resource management.
Capture, proposal development, contract negotiations, and execution experience for U.S. government contracts.
Proficiency in developing and presenting AOP and executing approved plans.
