About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for the Mid-Atlantic and Florida Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of up to five individuals, setting the vision, and creating a team culture that fosters professional growth and success. This role is pivotal in enhancing the company's presence in the region, particularly in the areas of fundraising, lay-led advocacy, and political engagement. The Managing Director will work closely with the National Director of Engagement to develop and execute strategies that align with the company's mission and goals.
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years' of direct management experience, a passion for the company's mission, and a strong understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and its impact on American politics and the Jewish community. The role requires a collaborative worker with excellent communication skills, the ability to build and cultivate relationships, and a high level of organization. A background in fundraising, including experience in donor relations and organizing fundraising events, is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of the political and Jewish communal landscape, familiarity with the region and its congressional delegations, and experience in event management. The position demands a high level of adaptability, as the candidate will be expected to travel regionally and work with a diverse range of contacts.
