Opportunity Overview
Position Location: Culver City, CA office

Social Media Operations & Campaign Support

Assist with the planning and execution of social media campaigns, product launches, and retail marketing initiatives across the Americas.

Help organize campaign timelines, content calendars, and internal trackers to ensure projects stay on schedule.

Support communication with retail stores regarding social media initiatives, promotional campaigns, and content requests.

Assist with campaign recaps, presentations, and performance reporting.

Content Creation & Creative Support

Capture and edit short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories, and other social platforms.

Brainstorm and pitch creative concepts for product launches, IP campaigns, retail promotions, and trending moments.

Draft social copy, internal communications, creative briefs, and campaign messaging.

Assist with photo and video asset organization for marketing campaigns.

Content Production & Event Coordination

Support content production for retail events, store openings, pop‑ups, creator visits, and product launches.

Assist in preparing creative briefs, shot lists, production schedules, and shoot logistics.

Help coordinate with photographers, videographers, and other creative vendors before and after productions.

Organize content deliverables and ensure assets are properly tracked and shared internally.

Community & Retail Social Support

Monitor retail store social accounts for campaign participation and brand consistency.

Track social media trends and identify opportunities relevant to POP MART’s products and IPs.

Support community engagement initiatives by monitoring audience conversations and collecting social insights.

Assist with gathering user-generated content and campaign highlights for internal reporting.

What You Will Need

Learning outcomes throughout the internship: social media operations for a global consumer brand; retail and experiential marketing execution.

Content production and shoot coordination; influencer and creator campaign support.

Campaign planning and cross‑functional collaboration.

Short‑form content strategy and performance analysis.

Working with creative agencies, photographers, and content creators.

Preferred Qualifications

Current student or recent graduate pursuing Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Advertising, Business, or a related field.

Strong interest in social media, content creation, retail marketing, and pop culture.

Experience creating content for TikTok and Instagram Reels.

Familiarity with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar editing platforms.

Fluency or professional proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is a strong plus.

Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Passion for designer toys, collectibles, anime, gaming, fashion, or pop culture is a plus.

Experience with photography or videography is a plus.

Familiarity with social media analytics, scheduling platforms, or content management tools is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to remain in a stationary position (e.g., seated or at a desk) for extended periods while operating a computer or other office equipment.

Must be able to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
