Seeking passionate physicians, the fully remote Medical Editor with MD or DO License will review and revise USMLE-style Step 1 and Step 2 practice questions and related topic summaries while ensuring content accuracy and educational value.
Key responsibilities
Review and revise questions and topic summaries to meet product guidelines, ensuring educational value and readability
Ensure assessment items are accurate and clinically realistic to prepare students for Step 1 and Step 2 exams
Collaborate with the medical illustration team to create or collect relevant images and figures
Required qualifications
Terminal medical degree (MD or DO) is required
Successful completion of USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 exams is required
Board certification in a US-approved specialty or completion of at least two years of ACGME-accredited residency training is required
Prior medical question writing experience is a plus
Commitment to a minimum of 10 hours per week of asynchronous work is required
