Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of the college's communications and marketing strategy across print, digital, web, social media, photography, video, and other multimedia platforms.
Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing, recruitment, and communications materials, including news stories, newsletters, promotional content, and digital media.
Manage and enhance the college website by ensuring timely, engaging, and accurate content while monitoring website performance and search engine optimization (SEO).
Develop and implement communications strategies to support college events, student recruitment initiatives, and strategic priorities in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Manage communications and recruitment projects by coordinating timelines, facilitating stakeholder collaboration, and ensuring successful project completion.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with university partners to promote college programs, events, and initiatives.
Supervise communications staff, interns, and student employees while fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and four years of experience related to media, communications, and/or marketing services; or a high school diploma/equivalent and eight years of related experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)
Preferred Qualifications
Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Experience in communication, recruitment, and event management.
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and photo/video editing tools.
Experience supervising staff and/or student employees.
Experience managing social media accounts for an organization.
Experience with web content management systems and SEO best practices.

Anticipated Salary Range
The anticipated starting salary for this position is in the range of low to high $50,000’s, commensurate with experience and education.
