Overview
The Program Manager serves as the school liaison for online services and program platforms. They work closely with the on‑site principal to support annual planning and oversee the instructional program. The role is a customer‑relations ambassador for Stride, Inc., ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary contact for account planning, implementation, and support.
Provide superior customer experience by proactively addressing training and support needs in collaboration with other Learning Solutions team members.
Coordinate resources to ensure seamless service delivery across marketing/enrollment, operations, curriculum, instruction, support, billing, training, and professional development.
Offer regular updates to partners on Learning Solutions progress, timelines, operations, and campaigns.
Collaborate closely with sales, enablement, academic, and other Learning Solutions team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
Escalate technical issues and determine appropriate remediation resources.
Lead and mentor instructional staff through one‑on‑ones, team meetings, learning opportunities, and development plans.
Supervise, monitor, and evaluate teachers and staff on performance and goal achievement; provide specific feedback and recognition.
Maintain departmental compliance with accountability measures.
Demonstrate efficient work habits—meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources, and respecting others.
Stay informed on state laws or administrative requirements affecting instructional services and adapt operations accordingly.
Support company initiatives by collaborating with additional Stride departments.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Directly supervise 10+ FTE employees and/or contractors, including recruiting, hiring, training, planning, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining, and resolving complaints.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or a related field and ten years of related professional experience.
Five years of leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated leadership, management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Proven business acumen and experience owning a line of business or school budget.
Capability to build a top‑talent leadership team and foster an environment of active listening and diverse viewpoints.
Track record of creating strategic partnerships that drive business growth.
Proficiency with MS 365 and web platforms.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
Ability to clear a required background check.
Desired Qualifications
Experience leading a remote team.
Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Certificates and Licenses
Valid state administrative license as required.
Work Environment
Home‑based position; eligible for remote work from Washington, D.C., and any state except Colorado.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $55,068–$75,000. Bonus eligibility for qualifying employees. Compensation may vary by location, experience, and other factors. Benefits include health coverage, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
