Producer – Role Overview : As a Producer at Shop LC, you will be responsible for scheduling and airing the products within each show and ensuring each show is successful and meets sales goals.

Salary Range - $48,000 to $52,000 annually
Job Responsibilities
Follow the direction of the company by working closely with sales leadership.
Coordinate various aspects of each show’s live production including product quantities and availability, meeting sales targets, timing and graphics, and collaborating with the show’s director to create a compelling audience narrative using sound effects, graphics, and audio.
Work live on air with the production team, leading each show to ensure an entertaining and effective experience for the audience.
Comply with the Producer Code of Conduct and adhere to company policies and procedures.
All other duties as assigned by the manager.
Proactive Show Planning
Producers must take a proactive approach in coordinating with the MPA prior to each show, aiming to complete most preparation before the show to minimize last-minute adjustments.
Early preparation enables greater control, smoother show flow, and more creative input.
Review of Show Lineups
Show lineups are typically distributed 48 hours in advance; producers must review assigned shows thoroughly and provide timely feedback to the MPA regarding lineup structure, product selection, or concerns.
Identification of Key Items
Identify potential key items within the assigned lineup or recommend suitable products if none are designated. Requests for specific products should be submitted through the Scheduler; warehouse inventory is available through the Scheduler.
Collaboration with Hosts
Producers who regularly work with the same host should leverage familiarity to strengthen collaboration and include hosts in preparation sessions with the MPA to develop storylines, product narratives, naming/positioning strategies, and storytelling angles to enhance on-air presentation and engagement.
Skills/Experience
Bachelor’s degree with one or more years of experience in studio operations; jewelry sales experience a plus.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high-pressure, fast-paced live TV environment.
Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to adjust and refocus in a dynamic live television setting.
Documented and demonstrated retail sales success.
Goal-oriented with a focus on the bottom line.
Skilled in formulating and executing sales strategies.
Dependable and flexible to work in a 24/7/365 environment, including overnights.
Operate independently with sound judgment and critical thinking.
Create a cooperative working environment and maintain effective working relationships with production and studio staff.
Flexible and able to respond to crises; communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Creative, personable, and enthusiastic.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other software.
Attention to detail and follow-through; strong professional and interpersonal skills; excellent oral and written communication.

Minimum of four days of on-air and/or office work per week.
