Job Summary/Description:
Video Editor for KVVU-TV, FOX5, Las Vegas requires knowledge of non-linear video editing. Must be capable of editing news stories in various forms for newscasts and various digital platforms.

Duties/Responsibilities:

The position requires knowledge of non-linear video editing.

Must be capable of editing news stories in various forms for newscasts and various digital platforms.

Receive and follow instructions on editing ENG material from talent or producers.

May have to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, mornings, and holidays.

Edit video as assigned for newscasts and various digital platforms.

Upload/download video to partner outlets/platforms.

Communicate with team in the newsroom.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Minimum 2 to 3 years of prior Editor experience, preferably in a TV Newsroom.

Flexible work hours required.

College degree preferred, but not required.
