Providing essential support for Professional Services Control Center customers, the remote Operations Technician II will troubleshoot complex network issues, manage network monitoring, and ensure effective communication with clients while working scheduled shifts in a 24/7 operational environment.
Key responsibilities
Supports Network Operations Center and Repair activities for PSCC customers
Resolves complex network problems involving network hardware, fiber, colo space, and power
Utilizes software and hardware tools for network monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities
Required qualifications
Understanding of Optical DWDM Transport Equipment (Infinera, Alcatel/Nokia, Ciena 6500, and/or Waveserver)
Experience supporting Dark Fiber and Wave products Alarm Monitoring Systems (i.e. RFM, Solarwinds)
Associate degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
Minimum 3+ years of related experience in a specific area or equivalent
May require technical certification
