Assistant Media Planner

As an Assistant Media Planner, you work closely with other members of the Digital Content Planning & Buying Team in developing and implementing digital advertising media buys that deliver against key performance metrics for a highly respected automotive client.

Demonstrate strong degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Able to build and maintain strong interpersonal/professional relationships with media partners and other disciplines etc.
An ideal candidate will be a self-starter with natural curiosity, analytical/data-minded and desire to learn digital ad technology.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
Understand and explain the fundamentals of digital advertising, media planning and buying
Support Media Planner in evaluating and implementing advertising campaigns
Support Media Planner with running and analyzing syndicated research reports utilizing agency media planning tools
Responsible for maintaining accurate media flowcharts, trafficking instructions, creative allocations, budgets/billing discrepancies, and make-goods
Input and maintain media buys with heavy data with a high degree of accuracy
Assist the team in managing and monitoring media buys, including digital media optimizations and reporting
Effectively coordinate with internal and external media partner & teams
Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate meetings with clients and media partners
Assist the team with Point of Views (POV's) and ad hoc projects
Work extended hours, including weekends, as required
Candidate experience should include:
B.A./B.S. Degree
Relevant advertising/marketing college course, internships or prior employment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to apply critical thinking and analysis in business writing
Proficient with the following computer software/systems: Internet and email applications, MS Office
Excellent organization and time management; ability to prioritize workload and multi-task

Compensation Range: USD $40,280.00 - USD $57,008.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
