Our client is a well-established MSP seeking a hands‑on and driven Director of Sales & Growth to lead new business development efforts, expand market presence, and build a scalable revenue engine. This leadership role will be responsible for driving net‑new client acquisition, developing a high‑performing sales organization, and partnering across marketing, operations, and client‑facing teams to achieve sustainable growth. The ideal candidate is a sales leader who thrives in consultative, relationship‑driven environments and has experience building predictable, repeatable sales processes.

Position Overview
The Director of Sales & Growth will own the company's go‑to‑market strategy and lead a team focused on business development and new client acquisition. This individual will be responsible for pipeline growth, forecasting accuracy, sales team development, and overall revenue expansion. The role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands‑on execution, with a focus on creating accountability, improving sales performance, and aligning cross‑functional teams around growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute growth strategies focused on new client acquisition and market expansion

Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing sales organization

Establish a metrics‑driven culture centered on accountability and performance

Drive pipeline growth, forecasting accuracy, and CRM discipline

Partner with marketing teams to strengthen demand generation and brand awareness

Collaborate with strategic partners to increase market opportunities and lead flow

Provide executive‑level support on key opportunities and complex sales engagements

Work closely with operations, finance, and service delivery teams to ensure successful client onboarding and long‑term satisfaction

Support initiatives that improve client retention, expansion, and overall revenue performance

Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will bring:

10+ years of sales leadership experience within IT managed services (MSP) focused on the SMB market, with recurring revenue models

Proven success leading and scaling high‑performing sales teams

Consistent track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets

Experience partnering with marketing, business development, and client success functions

Strong strategic planning, analytical, and financial acumen

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills

Experience with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Sandler, or similar frameworks

Ability to influence across departments and drive alignment without relying solely on direct authority
