The Producer/Director works with the Senior Producer/Director to manage production of programs and digital media content for UNO television within the School of Communication. This role requires a creative and innovative approach to generating and producing high-quality content. This position is responsible for assisting in the hiring, training and scheduling of student crews while also maintaining and managing the space and equipment of the studio and the field. This includes developing and executing creative concepts, working with clients, and overseeing the production process. This position may teach two JMC courses per academic year.
Responsibility Area: Production Duties: Perform and manage various aspects of video field and studio production (audio/video switching, scripting, shooting, lighting, editing, motion design & graphics and securing releases as necessary) to support faculty and student productions.

Responsibility Area: Budgetary Duties: Propose project budgets and track expenses, develop cost estimates for equipment purchases, create purchase requests and submit for approval., Create invoices for production work.
