Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Grassroots Fundraising and Digital Content Directors to build a creative, innovative, and data-driven digital program.
- Oversee and optimize our recurring donor and donor cultivation program, including generating bespoke content and managing outreach with the goal of moving supporters up the ladder of engagement.
- Oversee our tandem fundraising program, managing relationships with other Virginia and national digital leads to build mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Assist with daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting – ensuring campaign leadership receive timely, accurate and detailed fundraising updates.
- Work closely with our digital firm to manage the email & SMS calendar. Drafting, producing and reviewing emails and texts as needed.
- Be available to support the campaign during evenings and weekends when needed.
- Other projects to support the digital and grassroots fundraising program as needed.
Qualifications
- Committed to reelecting Senator Mark Warner and supporting Virginia Democrats.
- At least two years experience working in digital or grassroots fundraising with a campaign, digital firm, committee, or advocacy organization.
- Strong preference for background in SMS short code/broadcast fundraising.
- Strong understanding of digital strategy with the ability to execute on key elements of our strategy independently.
- Proficient in HTML/CSS, ActBlue, and CRMs like NGP or Switchboard with the ability to troubleshoot as needed.
- Strong writer with experience drafting and/or editing email and SMS fundraising copy.
- Creative thinker with a willingness to experiment and iterate to meet ambitious goals.
- Background in relationship management, data management, or digital organizing a plus but not required.
