Global Category Director

Impact Staffing International (ISI) is seeking a Global Category Director, Collagen to join our client’s Global Sales & Marketing team . This role will be responsible for driving the global strategy, growth, innovation, commercialization, and profitability of an established collagen portfolio.The Global Category Director will partner with global sales, marketing, R&D, science, innovation, supply chain, product management, and regional leadership teams to accelerate market expansion, strengthen category performance, and position collagen for a broader range of health and wellness applications.
This is a Direct Hire opportunity based in Irving, Texas . The position is on-site, M-F.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and execute the global strategy for the collagen category to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability.
Lead the continued growth and commercialization of the new joint venture innovation platform while managing the established collagen portfolio.
Oversee product lifecycle management, innovation, new product launches, business planning, and portfolio optimization.
Develop pricing strategies and support stronger profitability, EBITDA performance, and commercial decision-making.
Translate complex scientific and technical information into clear customer, commercial, and consumer-facing messaging.
Build B2B and B2B2C marketing strategies, including digital campaigns, consumer education, social media, customer engagement, and industry events.
Monitor category performance, market trends, pricing outcomes, volume growth, and marketing ROI to identify growth opportunities.
Build executive-level relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Lead and influence cross-functional global teams across sales, marketing, R&D, science, supply chain, and product management.
Manage and develop a global team supporting both the collagen portfolio and new joint venture.
Support sustainability initiatives and align category strategy with broader corporate ESG goals

Required Skills and Background: Master’s degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or a related field.
Senior-level experience in category management, product management, commercial strategy, brand leadership, or global business leadership.
Demonstrated success managing an established category while launching or scaling new products, platforms, or growth initiatives.
Strong global business experience, including working across international markets and regional teams.
Experience with pricing strategy, profitability, annual business planning, and product commercialization.
Ability to simplify scientific, clinical, or technical information for customers and consumers.
Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership.
Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams across multiple functions and regions.
Strong strategic, analytical, financial, and commercial judgment.
Action-oriented leadership style with the ability to work effectively in an evolving and entrepreneurial environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in collagen, nutritional ingredients, nutraceuticals, supplements, pharmaceuticals, functional foods, or health and wellness.
Experience working in both large global organizations and smaller, more agile environments.
B2B2C marketing experience, including digital brand-building, social media, influencer marketing, and consumer education.
Experience launching scientifically supported health or wellness products.
Experience managing international teams or working with global stakeholders.
Knowledge of sustainability and ESG strategy.
