This position develops and executes the content marketing strategy to generate leads and drive enrollments for UIC Online (UIC Extended Campus). This role is responsible for the ideation, creation, execution, and analysis of content for UIC Online, along with monthly reporting and analysis. This position also coordinates projects with internal and external partners and service providers, and ensures that marketing is timely, within budget, and following approved messaging.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Content Marketing for UIC Online Programs

Manage and build overall content marketing strategy to generate leads and drive enrollment to hit annual enrollment goals.
Copywriter and content creator for BHIS, MEng, MESA, MPA, UIC Online, and all future programs and partnerships.
Create engaging and original blog posts, emails, and social media posts targeted to your audience based on current trends.
Manage social media graphics, monthly calendar, and distribution of assets to Colleges or posting online.
Ownership of SEMRush
Audience research for each degree program UIC Online markets.
Use SEMRush to find out what questions our audience is asking and develop content to answer those questions.
Responsible for keeping project management system with editorial calendar up-to-date with projects, status, and deadlines.
Prepare annual plan presentations recapping past years\' initiatives and outline strategy to hit annual enrollment goals for next year.
Communicate and collaborate with multiple teams, UIC online marketing and Extended Campus teams.
Content Reports and Analytics
Pull monthly content reports by program.
Track, analyze, interpret, and make recommendations based on the data.
Present data from Google Analytics and SEMRush.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, public relations, or a closely related field.
One (1) year (12 months) of professional work experience in marketing, public relations, communications, brand management, or a related professional area.
Demonstrated knowledge in SEO and blog copywriting for various industries/topics.
Demonstrated knowledge with the ability to pull analytics reports, interpret data, and make recommendations based on the data.

Note: Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year (12 months) of work experience.
