Direct- Hire- Associate Product Developer

Job Description
We’re currently working on an exciting opportunity with a well-known fashion brand for an

Associate Product Developer . This role is ideal for someone with a background in Product Development, Design who has a strong eye for trend, solid fabric knowledge, and a passion for product development.

This position supports the product lifecycle from concept through production and offers a highly collaborative environment working cross-functionally with Design, Tech Design, Merchandising, Buying, and overseas vendors. Candidates with a blend of Product Development and Design experience will be especially competitive.

What You’ll Be Doing

Support product development from concept through final production

Conduct trend and market research to help inform product direction

Partner cross-functionally with Design, Tech Design, Merchandising, Buying, and vendors

Assist with tech packs, WIP reports, cost sheets, and product documentation

Coordinate approvals for colors, trims, washes, and materials

Attend fittings, track samples, and help keep calendars on schedule

Maintain accurate product information across internal systems

Communicate daily with overseas vendors on specs, timelines, and quality

What They’re Looking For

2–5 years of experience in Product Development, Merchandising, Buying, or Design

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Product Development, or a related field

Strong understanding of the apparel product development process

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and materials

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace

Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop is a plus

Experience working with overseas vendors is preferred

PLM or product tracking system knowledge is a plus
