Did you sing in choir in high school or college and miss the good old days? Are you looking to find community in NYC? A new hobby after work? Join the choir at Gotham City Music Collective! GCMC is a community music organization that believes in the transformative power of group singing. We welcome anyone from beginners who have never sung before, to professional musicians who are looking for a community outlet. Maybe you’re an actor or dancer and want to strengthen your vocals! No matter who you are, there’s a place for you in the choir at GCMC. If you’re interested in joining, please see details below.
Rehearsals: Every Thursday, 6:30-8:30pm, starting on August 20 through November 5th
Concert: Friday November 6th, 7pm
Concert Location: Brick Church Sanctuary, 62 E 92nd St, New York, NY 10128
We have an open door policy and always welcome anyone who just wants to check out a rehearsal or two if you’re unsure about committing. If you do decide to fully join, we have “suggested dues" which help pay for our rehearsal and performance spaces. However, dues are not required for membership; we don’t turn anyone away who wants to make music for music’s sake!
