Summary: We are looking for a candidate to provideleadership in data governance, analytics strategy, and information management to support HITU’s data-driven decision-making objectives. This position serves as the bridge between technical data capabilities and organizational priorities, ensuring data assets are reliable, accessible, secure, and aligned with mission and business goals. The Data Strategist supports the planning, development, and execution of enterprise data initiatives, including data migration, legacy clinical data integration, and clinical viewer transition activities associated with HITU modernization efforts. The role focuses on strategic planning, governance, and coordination to maximize the value of data across the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, andmaintainenterprise data strategies, governance policies, and analytics roadmaps that support HITU priorities and modernization initiatives.
Partner with business, clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders toidentifydata requirements, reporting needs, and analytics opportunities.
Lead efforts to improve data quality, standardization, metadata management, and data stewardship practices.
Providestrategic guidance on enterprise data architecture, integration approaches, and analytics solutions.
Support the development of dashboards, reports, and performance metrics in collaboration with data analysts and business stakeholders.
Facilitate data migration planning and coordination activities, including legacy clinical data integration and transition efforts.
Adviseleadership on data trends, key performance indicators, and analytical findings that support operational and strategic decision-making.
Promote compliance with data governance standards, privacy regulations, security requirements, and organizational policies.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure data initiatives align with enterprise objectives and modernization goals.
Qualifications: 5-8 years of experience
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related degree
Expertisein data governance and lifecycle management
Experience in healthcare or federal data environments
