Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Managing Director Senior Housing Operations in Cockeysville, MD. Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to oversee operational performance, drive business initiatives, and support organizational growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies, leading cross‑functional teams, managing key stakeholder relationships, and ensuring the achievement of financial and operational objectives. This role requires a strong blend of leadership, business acumen, and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will have experience managing teams, improving processes, driving performance metrics, and collaborating with executive leadership to achieve company goals. The ability to navigate complex business environments, influence stakeholders, and lead organizational change is essential.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
10+ years of progressive leadership experience
Proven experience managing teams and developing high‑performing organizations
Financial management, budgeting, and forecasting experience
Experience building and maintaining executive‑level relationships
Experience with leading change management initiatives
Process improvement and operational optimization experience
Exceptional leadership and people management skills
Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities
Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
Project and program management expertise
Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder management
Negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills
Risk management and compliance awareness
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
Ability to analyze data and translate insights into business decisions
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to travel as required
Benefits The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
