Position Principal Regional Leadless Specialist – field based in the Tampa or St. Petersburg, FL area, within the Cardiac Rhythm Management Leadless division.
Responsibilities Educate physicians, nurses, and other health care providers on indications and patient selection for leadless pacing.
Provide procedural support in accordance with instructions for use and trial protocol to promote consistency and optimal clinical outcomes.
Assist internal Abbott personnel with education and training activities.
Stay current with clinical data regarding leadless CRM products and communicate findings.
Coordinate, deliver, and implement programs and resources to expand market reach and therapy access.
Provide market intelligence to refine therapy training and expansion plans.
Act as liaison with marketing for technology improvements and next‑generation product feedback.
Complete assigned administrative reporting.
Exercise judgment in planning and organizing work, monitor performance, and report status.
Employ best business practices to ensure success and cost effectiveness in all responsibilities.
Ensure compliance with Abbott policies and practices.
Preferred Experience Previous cardiac leadless device training/education certification or designation.
Previous sales experience or demonstrated business acumen.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (engineering) or equivalent/related experience.
7+ years of clinical medical device experience, ideally with CRM products.
Ability to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Confidence in leading and influencing customers, and ability to course‑correct as needed.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with medical device industry policies, operations, and procedures.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and other common PC applications.
Ability to travel significantly (approximately 50‑75% of the time).
IBHRE certification required.

Total Compensation The base pay for this position is $86,700.00 – $173,300.00. Specific location may affect the pay range.
