Manage all aspects of media relations, including proactive pitching, press release development, press tour coordination, and rapid response. Oversee relationships with external PR agencies and ensure alignment with brand and business objectives. Develop thought leadership content and byline strategy in partnership with subject matter experts across the company. Track, report, and continuously improve on PR KPIs including media coverage, sentiment, share of voice, and domain authority. Partner with the CEO, C-suite, and senior leadership team to develop compelling narratives, talking points, presentations, and speeches. Prepare executives for media interviews, panel appearances, earnings calls, and industry speaking engagements. Own the editorial calendar for executive communications, including blog posts, LinkedIn content, and op-eds. Set the strategy and editorial direction for Egnyte’s corporate social media channels. Oversee the social media content calendar and ensure consistent, on-brand storytelling across all platforms. Lead social media campaigns tied to product launches, company news, events, and industry moments. Monitor social listening and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and risks. Track and report on social media performance metrics, engagement rates, follower growth, and campaign ROI. Partner with Demand Generation and Product Marketing to amplify integrated campaigns. Serve as the lead communications strategist during high-stakes situations, partnering cross-functionally to ensure timely and consistent messaging. Develop and maintain crisis communications playbooks and conduct post-crisis reviews to continuously improve preparedness. Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing communications team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous growth. Set clear goals and priorities for direct reports, providing regular feedback, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
