The Role
You shoot it. You cut it. You own it start to finish.

This is not a camera operator job. This is not an editor job. This is a Shreditor role. One person, full ownership, from concept through final export. If you need three other people to get an idea across the finish line, this isn't for you.

We move fast and we move at volume. That means you need to be good under pressure and honest about what you can deliver.

Requirements

3+ years shooting and editing professionally, with a reel that proves both

Deep proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or DaVinci Resolve)

Confident with mirrorless/cinema camera systems, lighting, and audio capture

Color grading and sound mixing at a broadcast-ready standard

Motion graphics and title design capability

Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously without dropping details

Reliable file management and media organization discipline

Own transportation, valid driver's license, able to travel for shoots

Portable hard drive and personal workstation familiarity a plus

Pre-Production

Sit in on creative briefs and translate business objectives into shot lists

Build treatments, storyboards, and shooting schedules

Scout locations and flag lighting, sound, and logistical issues before shoot day

Prep and test gear. Batteries charged, cards formatted, backups ready

Coordinate talent, call times, and on-site logistics

Anticipate the edit while you're still planning the shoot

Production

Operate camera, lighting, and audio solo or with minimal crew

Direct on-camera talent and get usable performances out of non-actors

Capture proper coverage. B-roll, cutaways, and safety takes are non-negotiable

Monitor exposure, focus, and audio levels in real time

Adapt when locations change, talent runs late, or weather turns

Back up media on-site before you leave

Post-Production

Ingest, organize, and archive footage on a consistent system

Cut long-form, short-form, and vertical deliverables from the same shoot

Color grade, mix audio, and build motion graphics

Version content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and paid ad placements

Take feedback without ego and turn revisions fast

Deliver final files correctly named, correctly spec'd, on time

Volume & Turnaround

Comfortable producing 15–30+ finished deliverables per month

Same-week turnaround on standard projects, 24–48 hour turnaround on priority content

Batch shooting mindset. One shoot day should feed weeks of content

Build and use templates, presets, and systems that compress your own timeline

Track your own deadlines. Nobody is chasing you for status updates

Who Fits Here

You actually give a damn about the work

You'd rather solve the problem than explain why it can't be solved

You take pride in craft but you don't hide behind it

You want to grow into leading creative, not just executing it
