Social Media Manager

Our client, a leading entertainment organization, is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead both organic and paid social media initiatives across a portfolio of consumer-facing brands. This role is ideal for a creative, data-driven marketer who understands how to build engaged communities, create compelling content, and optimize campaigns that drive audience growth and brand awareness.

This is a contract assignment. Pay rate: $60/hour.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute integrated organic and paid social media strategies across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Create, schedule, and publish engaging content that supports marketing campaigns, brand initiatives, and audience growth.

Manage the social content calendar and partner with creative, marketing, and media teams to execute campaigns.

Monitor campaign performance, analyze social metrics, and optimize content and paid initiatives based on insights.

Manage day-to-day community engagement, responding to comments, messages, and conversations while fostering a positive brand presence.

Stay current on emerging social trends, platform updates, and cultural moments to inform content strategy.

Required Qualifications

3-5 years of professional experience managing both organic and paid social media campaigns.

Experience supporting entertainment, media, consumer, or lifestyle brands.

Strong understanding of social media platforms, audience engagement strategies, and paid social best practices.

Experience with social media management and analytics tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Meta Business Suite, or similar platforms.

Excellent copywriting, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
