Shamrock Trading Corporation is seeking a motivated SEO Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will execute search engine optimization strategies that improve organic visibility, increase website traffic and support lead generation across our portfolio of websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO best practices, analytical skills to identify optimization opportunities, and the ability to collaborate across teams to improve website performance.
What You'll Do
Execute on-page, technical and content optimization initiatives that align with the overall SEO strategy.
Conduct keyword research and competitive analyses to identify opportunities for new and existing content.
Optimize website content, metadata, internal linking, headings and page structure to improve search visibility and user experience.
Perform regular SEO audits to identify technical issues and partner with development teams to implement recommended improvements.
Monitor website performance, keyword rankings and organic traffic using SEO and analytics tools to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
Collaborate with content creators, designers and developers to ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into digital initiatives.
Create and manage editorial calendars for blog content that supports SEO objectives and business priorities.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies and search engine algorithm updates to continuously improve SEO performance.
Assist with reporting on SEO performance and provide insights and recommendations based on data.
What You'll Bring
2–4 years of SEO or digital marketing experience and a bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, business or a related field.
Working knowledge of current SEO best practices, strategies and reporting.
Experience working within a content management system (e.g., Drupal).
Familiarity with SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Semrush and similar platforms.
Understanding of on-page, off-page and technical SEO principles.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
